The Global Corporate Finance Society (GCFS) is a member-owned nonprofit society and its members have successfully completed the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)™ designation, issued by the Corporate Finance Institute®. This page outlines GCFS’s Charter for its members.
Financial Analyst Community
The GCFS exists to serve its members and the global financial analyst community. There are tens of millions of finance professionals globally and the responsibility that rests on their shoulder is enormous. All companies, governments, institutions, and organizations rely on financial analysis to make decisions, and the quality of that analysis has a major impact on their future.
The GCFS Charter outlines the governance, ownership, and purpose of the Society. Those key areas are described below:
The GCFS is government by a board of directors and a strategic advisory panel. The board is elected by the members of the Society and provides oversight and stewardship for the entire society. The advisory panel serves to offer independent advice and guidance on the FMVA™ curriculum and financial analyst training programs.
The Global Corporate Finance Society is 100% member-owned. To be a member of the society you must be a Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)™ designation holder in good standing or enrolled in and working towards the certification.
The purpose of the GCFS is to be a steward of the corporate finance community and improve the quality and standards of Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis around the world.
